Digital Transformation

In quickly growing organizations, operational systems and tools often lag behind multiple organizational needs, causing various challenges. Leaders may realize that this is the case, but lack the time to address these issues because program or product delivery growth priorities.    As a result, the data needed for important program or product decisions may not be readily available.

Inefficient Processes
Processes are tedious, unscalable and error-prone,  resulting in team member frustration and administrative burden.

Individualistic Solutions
To cope with failing systems, team members resort to developing individualist ad hoc solutions, based on personal app preference.  This results in multiple apps used across the organization and time-wasting duplication of efforts.
Costs

Expenses mount.  Sometimes the total cost of the digital tools currently in use is hard to assess.  Apps need to be identified and payment methods can vary if the purchases were not centralized.  After an initial investment, the annual cost of a digital transformation can result in savings over the long-term.

Reporting Challenges

Information becomes siloed and compartmentalized, preventing the team from having a holistic view. It becomes very difficult to see a comprehensive picture of the data patterns that are so essential to informed decision-making.

What we do

Assess

We work with the project lead and/or working group to determine a method for information gathering across the organization (surveys or interviews) and then implement. The information is summarized in a report that including current tools used and pain points.

Plan

Key strategic decisions are identified and decision analysis and support is provided.  Once the digital strategy is determined,  a timeline is created outlining the implementation phases, including the sequencing and length of time required for each phase.

Implement

The implementation of each phase begins with prototyping, testing and collecting feedback from users before the client's data is imported into the system.  The implementation process ends with the production and distribution of documentation and training.

Evaluate

Evaluation occurs during the process as well as at its conclusion.  Adjustments are made along the way, based on feedback and analysis of the new systems' effectiveness.
